Obituary for Andrew M. DeSantis Andrew M. DeSantis, 34, passed away suddently on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Andrew was a lifelong Annadale resident. He was a parishioner of Holy Child Church and in his earlier years, played baskeball for the Church team.
He graduated from Monsignor Farrell High School and also received his Bachelor Degree from the College of Staten Island. After his graduation, he worked for Consolidated Edison Company of New York for the past 8 years. In his spare time he enjoyed watching sports, especially his favorite teams, the Philadelphia Eagles, the NY Mets and the NY Knicks.
His favorite passion was watching wrestling, which he was a huge fan of. He is survived by his beloved parents, Vincent and Grace; his loving brothers, Vincent and Anthony; his dear sisters-in-law, Jennifer and Nicole; and his adored niece and nephews, Ava Rose, Vincent, Jace and Christian. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2018, and from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m.on Monday, December 10, 2018 at The John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312.
