He is survived by his spouse, Horacio Perez; children: Alexander, Isaac, and Allison; parents; sisters: Lucia Delgado (Jesus), Manuela Saavedra, and Sonia Flores (Manuel); brother: Florentino Saavedra, Jr. (America); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Castle Ridge Mortuary, 8008 Military Drive West, San Antonio, Texas 78227. Services resume on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. at Castle Ridge Mortuary.
