Obituary for Angelina “Angie” Russo (Mangone) Print Angelina Russo “Angie” (nee Mangone), 103, a lifelong resident and the oldest resident of East Rutherford, passed away at home on February 4, 2019. For eight years, she was a cook at Jerry’s Restaurant, owned by her brother, in East Rutherford and prior she worked at Becton Dickinson in East Rutherford. Angie was known for her delicious eggplant and ravioli.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church and a member of the Rosary Altar Society, the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and the East Rutherford Seniors since 1982. Beloved wife of the late Philip Russo. Loving mother of Philip Russo and his wife Karen, Patricia A. Kelly and the late Ann C. Pollara and Linda M. Miller.

Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Gerald “Jerry” Mangone, Peter Mangone, Joseph Mangone, Frank Mangone, Anthony Mangone, Louise Sanfilipppo, Carmela Damora, Fanny Tummillo, Anne Domenick, Rose Flenner and Madeline “Mickey” Schmatz. Funeral departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 9:00 AM for a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, East Rutherford at 9:30 AM.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Assoc.
