Angie Stepter December 22, 1926 – March 05, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Angie Stepter was born, December 22, 1926, in Plaquemine, Louisiana to the late Rev. Charles E. and Amelia Randall. In 1930 the family moved to Chicago, IL.

Angie attended Dolittle Elementary School and DuSable High School. In 1954, Angie met and married Edgar Stepter, and to this union two sons were born. Angie attended Ebenezer Baptist Church as a child and she accepted Christ as her personal savior.

Later, Angie became a member of South Shore Unitarian Church and she actively served on the usher board and sang in the choir. Angie loved to cook and have family and friends around all the time; especially on the weekends when she prepared big Sunday dinners and tasty treats. She loved to play bid whist.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 37 years, Edgar Stepter, four sisters: Rose Howard, Amelia Randall, Agnes Bennett and Victoria Randall and brother, Phillip Randall. Angie leaves to cherish her memories sons: Herbert (Hattie) and Robert (Vanessa); grandchildren: Letitia, Jason, Malek, Ariana, Jessica, Dana and Valerie; great grandchildren: Jada, Jazmine, Grant and Aaron; lifelong friends of the family: Louis (Gwen) Sandoboe, Herb (Vera) Hannah and Joe(Elaine) Anderson and a host of other family members and friends.
