OBITUARY Ann C. Murphy March 4, 1935 – September 5, 2018 Play Tribute Movie (nee Kelly) of Rocky River, formerly of Bay Village and Detroit, died peacefully Tuesday, September 4, 2018, under the care of the Hospice of the Western Reserve. Dear wife of Edward (deceased) for 42 years. Loving mother of Timothy (Wendy), Daniel (Patti), John (Jennifer), and Mary Margaret “Peggy” Shackleton (Greg).

Awesome grandmother of Kelly Ann Murphy Coyle (Frank), T.J. and Chad Murphy; Erin Murphy Hupp (Craig) and Matt (Jenna) Murphy; Sean (Karie) and Kaitlin Murphy; Michael and Brian Shackleton. Great-grandmother of Connor, Griffin, and Claire Hupp and Nina and Giuliana Coyle. Sister to Thomas and Dennis Kelly and to the late Daniel and Michael Kelly.

Daughter to Francis and Mary Kelly (nee Doucher). Ann was born and raised in Detroit, Mich. and graduated from St. Mary’s of Redford in the class of 1953.

In September of 1956, she married Edward J. Murphy. She was a devoted wife and mother who delighted in attending all of her children’s and grandchildren’s events. She enjoyed all things family-oriented and loved being “Nana”.

She was a selfless friend to many. She was employed as a special education aide, wedding consultant, and salesperson. The family will receive friends and family at Corrigan-Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd.

Fairview Park, Ohio, on Sunday, September 16, from 4-7PM and for a funeral mass at St. Angela’s, 20970 Lorain Rd. Fairview Park, Ohio, on Monday, September 17, at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of the Western Reserve in Westlake, OH.
