McAllister, Ann Marie DeBrizzi McAllister, age 93, of Stratford, beloved wife of the later Arthur Kenneth McAllister, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2018, in St. Vincent’s Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Ann was born on January 24, 1925 in Stratford and was the daughter of the late Nicola and Antoinette DeBrizzi. Ann was a lifelong resident of Stratford and was employed by BIC for over 25 years as an inspector.

She was an avid cook of Italian specialites. Ann is survived by two sons, Kenneth Arthur McAllister and wife Sally of Ohio and Dennis James McAllister of Ansonia, one daughter, Michele and husband Rep. David Rutigliano of Trumbull, four grandchildren, Kelly, Scott, David and Joseph, great grandchildren Amelia Jane and Riley Diana, nephew, Ronald Manos of Milford, niece, Linda Manos of Stratford and several nieces, nephews and many friends that she enjoyed spending time with.

In addition to her beloved husband, Arthur of 71 years, Ann was also predeceased by four brothers, Samuel, Thomas, Vincent and Donald DeBrizzi and two sisters, Lucy Manos and Frances Georgette. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 10:30 AM DIRECTLY in St. James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Rogerio Perri.

Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 PM. For those who so desire, contributions may be made in Ann’s memory to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
