Ann was born April 29, 1927 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Vito and Rose (Vovan) Lagioia. She was a nursing supervisor for Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital and she enjoyed playing cards, bingo and Wii bowling.

Ann was united in marriage to Edward J. Vanecek in 1935 who preceded her in death. Also preceding her were a daughter, Susan Vanecek and four brothers. Surviving are a son, Edward (Susan) Vanecek; daughter Barbara Vanecek; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

Interment will be in Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans or Friendship Village. Arrangements made by Redmond Funeral Home 4100 S. Westnedge Ave.
