Ewing, 50, formerly of Du Quoin, passed away after a long battle with chronic kidney disease. Anna went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 1:49 P.M., Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Ambassador Manor Nursing Home in Tulsa, OK. Anna was a member of Freedom Life Church of God in Tulsa, OK.

She was a member of Oklahoma Professional Development Registry. She received a 1 year Bible certificate from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. Anna worked in day cares in Arizona, Illinois, Minnesota, and Oklahoma.

Her experience as a master teacher earned her an equivalence of an associates degree in early childhood education. She was born October 15, 1968 at St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Albert and Edith (Smith) Beers. She married Rev.

Eric L. Ewing on August 31, 1991 at the Faith Assembly of God Church in Du Quoin and he survives. She is survived by her husband of Tulsa, OK, one sister – Cindy Beers of Du Quoin, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved cat, Pepper.

Per Anna’s request, cremation services were held. On Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 A.M., there will be a private graveside at the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Albert and Edith Beers’ grave for family members and friends by invitation only. At Noon, there will be a Celebration of Life service at the Faith Assembly of God Church, 539 N. Maple St. in Du Quoin for family and friends.

After the service, there will be a family fellowship at the Second Baptist Church, 219 S. Illinois Ave. in Du Quoin. A Celebration of Life service at the Freedom Life Church of God in Tulsa, OK will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 23, 2019.
