Obituary for Anna Lee McCracken Weatherly “Take my hand precious Lord, take me home”. Anna Lee McCracken Weatherly, 85, of Bristol, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Christian Care Center of Bristol. She was born in Bristol, VA on November 19, 1933, a daughter of the late Roy and Nettie Keith McCracken.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Weatherly and an infant daughter, Linda Weatherly. Anna graduated from Virginia High School in 1952. She had worked at Gordon Garment for eight years and had been a unit secretary at Bristol Regional Medical Center for 13 years.

She was a loving mother, wife, and friend. Anna is survived by her daughters, Celeste Weatherly, Lori Ratliff and husband Gary, and Teresa Whitaker and husband Joey; sons, Terry Weatherly and Robert Weatherly and wife Amy; eight grandchildren, Andy Ratliff, Allison Stufflestreet, Laurel Martinez, Heather Martinez and husband Josh Moore, Joseph Whitaker, Jaron Weatherly, Jack Weatherly, and Sean Weatherly; five great grandchildren; sister Sara Tabor; brother, Robert McCracken; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Christian Care Center.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, Bristol, VA. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Herbert Peak officiating. The committal service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol, VA.
