Anna Patricia Thompson (nee Jones) died suddenly after brief illness on Nov 4, 2018 at The University Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She was 68 years old. Daughter of the late James Jones Jr and Theresa Jones (nee Cernese) was born in Brooklyn, New York January 15, 1950.

She is survived by her brother and sister in law, Jimmy and Kathy Jones of Oak Harbour, Washington; her children Cassandra and her husband Sean Skinner of Glen Burnie, MD; Samantha Collins and her Fiance Marshall Lamm of Wilson, NC, and her only son Jameson Collins of Glen Burnie. Her grandchildren, Logan Alexander, Hunter, Alex, Kyra, Logan David, Lauren and Juliette, all of whom lived her in Glen Burnie, along with many other family members and friends. She attended Catherine McAuley high school in Brooklyn,New York class of 1967.

Earned a bachelors of science in 1970. She worked as Registered nurse in New York, a lead communications operator at South Baltimore General hospital (now Harbor Hospital) in the early 80s, and then in the 90s she was a vent unit clerk manager at Virginia Hospital Center, in Arlington, VA. For the last eighteen years she spent her time spoiling her grandkids, cats, and dogs.

A celebration of life gathering will be Saturday November 10,2018 from 3-7pm at McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA). In lieu of flowers donations towards funeral costs are appreciated.
