Anna’s Obituary Anna Rosetta Bronaugh was born on June 30, 1932 to the late Will and Alpha Bronaugh. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Reverend Dan Roberts at the Durrett Avenue Baptist Church. Anna was a dedicated member of the Pastor’s Aide Club.

“Ms. Ann” loved to cook and entertain all who entered her home. Her greatest passion was writing down recipes and news in her notebooks, and most importantly loving on her children and grandchildren. She had a great talent of retelling stories from the “good ole days” and providing life lessons.

Anna expressed love and compassion for animals by feeding them daily. As her life has come to an end, let us remember her fascination with red birds. Like the red bird, our Matriarch was strong~resilient~valued life~empathetic~a warrior~loving~a survivor!

Cardinals are often a sign that a loved one is around. So if you are visited by one, know it is her reaching out to say I Love You! On May 20, 2019, Anna went from labor to rest.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Alpha Bronaugh, three sisters, Louise Bronaugh, Flossie Mae Wallace and Clara Bea Stoner, and daughter Angela Marie Brewer Bronaugh. Her greatest accomplishment in life was being the mother to her ten children. She leaves to cherish her memories six sons Joe Brewer, Wayne Brewer, Marvin Brewer , Lloyd (Shelly) Brewer, Rodney (Margaret) Bronaugh and Aaron Bronaugh and three daughters Elizabeth Fryer, Wanda (Robert) Lewis and Valerie Bronaugh, dedicated and loving caregiver, twenty four grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild; Brother, Will Bronaugh ; Oldest Niece Bessie Nelson, other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
