Anna Ruth Hanson, 91, of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Valley Hospice. She was born in Steubenville on July 31, 1927 the daughter of the late Adrian & Edith Baer Walsh. A 1946 graduate of Steubenville High School, she attended the former Sycamore Tree UM Church.

She had been employed at both Jack & Jill Dry Cleaners and Richman Brothers as a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Hanson. Surviving are her children Adrian “Ed” (Sue) Hershey, Donna (Mike) Knight, Dale Hershey & Marilyn Hershey; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Private services. Burial at Union Cemetery.
