Annabell’s Obituary Annabell May Lang, 79, of Cole Camp, died Thursday, February 28, 2019, at her home. She was born on September 23, 1939, in Sedalia, Missouri, a daughter of Oscar Albert and Anna Katherine (Steffens) Kreisel. On February 11, 1940, she was baptized at Mt.

Hulda Lutheran Church near Cole Camp by Pastor E. J. H. Duever. Her baptismal sponsors were Maggie Steffens, Fred Steffens, and Irene Steffens. She grew up on the family farm east of Cole Camp, graduated eighth grade from Bahrenburg School and attended Cole Camp High School.

On July 2, 1955, at Kansas City, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Fred Clark Lang. This union was blessed with the gift of two children, Fred Elmer and Laurie Ann. The family moved from Kansas City back to Cole Camp in 1968.

Annabell was a member of Mt. Hulda Lutheran Church, Cole Camp, Missouri. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, planting flowers, making crafts, and being with her kids and grandkids making sure to gift each and every one of them something special.

She also enjoyed feeding and watching birds, as well as reading about them. She is survived by a huge family that loved her very much, including, her daughter, Laurie Ann Brennan of Cole Camp; her son, Fred Elmer Lang Sr. and Clara; two sisters, Minnie Katherine Kreisel Canida of Cole Camp and Mary Alice Kreisel Kraft and her husband, Steve of Mound, Oklahoma; three brothers, Oscar Henry Kreisel and his wife Joan of New York, Harry Lee Kreisel and Karen of Cole Camp, and Fred John Kreisel and Debbie of Cole Camp; five grandchildren, Crystal June Lang Frame and Sean, Fred Elmer Lang Jr. and Samantha, Ronald Ray Downey and Courtland, Ryan Christopher Downey and Amanda, and Travis Hunter Brennan; thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, friends, and other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Albert and Anna Katherine Kreisel, a sister, Helma Louise Kreisel Wheeler and two brothers, Albert Edward Kreisel, Elmer Luther Kreisel, and a brother-in-law, Wilbur Claude Canida.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp with Pastor Jason Veale officiating, where the family will receive friends beginning at noon. Burial will be in Union-Williams Cemetery, Cole Camp. The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the family’s choice in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, MO 65325.

Pallbearers will be Fred Elmer Lang, Jr., Ronald Ray Downey III, Ryan Christopher Downey, Travis Hunter Brennan, Francis John Kreisel, and Mathew Tyler Frame. Honorary pallbearers will be Rebecca Katherine Canida Williams, Dawn Lynn Kreisel Spencer, Johnny Spencer, Sean Frame, Harry Lee Kreisel, Fred John Kreisel, Oscar Henry Kreisel, and Steve Kraft.
