Anne Boyer, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born in Reading, PA on September 21, 1946 to William A. Grycon and Ruth L. (Fichthorn) Grycon. She married the love of her life Thomas (Tom) G. Boyer, Sr. on March 2, 1963 who preceded her in death on April 30, 1983.

She is survived by two sons, her pride and joy, Thomas (Tommy) G Boyer, Jr. and his wife Chloe Boyer residing in Omaha NE, and Dr. Michael (Mike) Boyer and his wife Jaime Boyer residing in Winter Garden, FL. She was a loving Nana to her grandsons Rocco Boyer, son of Tommy and Chloe and Dylan, “adopted” son to Mike and son of Jaime. Her Brother William F. Grycon preceded in her death on May 19, 2011.

She loved to serve and take care of others. She was known as the neighborhood mom to many at her home on Frontier Ave in Reading, always hosting and serving up her famous Stromboli, Lasagna and Spare Ribs. Her love of Hersey Bars and Coca Cola was second to none.

Early in her career, she worked at IZOD and AT&T before taking ownership in and running the Sandwich Factory for several years with her late husband. She retired in 2009 from the Inn at Reading. Anne’s life will be celebrated by a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m at the Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory, 5153 Kutztown Rd.
