Obituary for Anne Hennessy (Rooney) Vernon: Anne E. Hennessy, 82 died Friday September 7, 2018 at Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon Twp. Mrs. Hennessy, daughter of the late Edward and Theresa (Johler) Rooney was born in Manhattan, NY February 6, 1936. She resided in Lynbrook, NY for many years and later in Tuxedo Park, NY for 12 years before recently moving to Vernon.

Mrs. Hennessy was a homemaker and enjoyed travelling the world. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Hennessy and a daughter, Susan Hennessy Flood. Mrs. Hennessy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Schlesinger & her husband Joel of Vernon; son in law, Joseph Flood of Ramsey and her grandchildren, Kevin and Conor Flood of Ramsey and Katherine Flood of Arlington, VA.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday September 16, 2018 from 2-4PM at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Court) Vernon. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice attn: Home for Hospice 99 Sparta Ave.
