Anne’s Obituary Anne Marie McBride, 82 formerly of Brighton St, Springfield, MA, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Wingate Nursing Home, Springfield, MA. Born April 21, 1936 along with her twin sister, Emily Eckstein, she was the daughter of Edward Clinton and Muriel Emily Heyliger in Brooklyn, NY. After high school Anne entered nursing school and was trained at Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital where she graduated as a LPN.

Over time her career path changed and she went back to school and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Southern New England University. This put her path in positions of helping people enrich their lives in many different ways. Her last position was with MCDI where she touched the lives of many people who were seeking help in getting their GEDs.

Her students came from many different walks of life but Anne treated each and every person as a unique and valued individual. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle P. McBride and wife, Sharon McAbee of Springfield, MA and son, Brian G. McBride of Tampa, FL. Predeceased by her brother, Murvin Heyliger, Anne is survived by four brothers, Steven of Arrowhead, CA, Leroy Sr. of Mattituck, Long Island, NY, David of NC, and Lawrence of North Miami, FL; twin sister Emily Theresa Eckstein of Springfield, MA, sister, Yvonne Jones Klein, of Bronx, NY.

Anne is also survived by grandchildren, Jaime Andrew McBride, Sr. and wife Maria, Jamison Matthew McBride Torres and wife Jasmin and Shey Teres McAbee. Anne is survived by great grandchildren, (Jaime Sr.’s children) Elsie, MaryJane (M.J.), Jamie (L.B.), Jaime, Jr. (J.J.), Nikita (Kiki) and Marcos (Marky) and (Jamison’s son) Jaxon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
