Obituary of Annette Abbate Annette F. Abbate, (nee Floridia), 85, of Totowa, passed away on May 6, 2018. Annette was born in Paterson on May 4, 1933 to the late Joseph and Josephine (Scaramia) Floridia. For many years, she worked as a server at Scordato’s in Hawthorne.

Later, Annette worked as a teacher’s aid and a kickball coach in both the Lincoln Park and Wayne School Systems. She is survived by her son Joseph Abbate, her granddaughter Marina Abbate, her brother John Floridia and her niece Jo-Ann Floridia. She was predeceased by her daughter Janice Abbate.
