Annie B. Amick, 82, formerly of Lexington, passed peacefully Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Born on September 17, 1936 in Whitmire, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ransom S. and Ophelia Gray Bush. Annie retired from Richland Memorial Hospital-Richland Springs, and after retirement she enjoyed running the carousel at Columbiana Center.

She relocated to Chester, SC, and worked in the cafeteria at Chester High School. She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star and a member of Cool Branch Baptist Church, Blair, SC. She enjoyed traveling, collecting dolls, playing cards and spending time with family.

She is survived by her daughters, Lib Smith (Roger), Belinda Atkerson (Dale); son, Rocky Amick; grandchildren, Kay Morrison (Jody), Samantha Langley (Scott), Jason Smith (Lindsey), Jennifer Daniels (Allen), Sarah Keefe (Seth), Joseph Amick, Bryce Amick; great grandchildren, Michael Lindsey, Scott Lindsey, Matthew Lindsey, Andrew Langley, Keeley Orr, Colt Smith, Jackson Daniels, sisters Brenda Calvitt, Mary McJunkins; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Margaret Markee, Gladys Wilson, Ransom Bush, Jr., Ella Stevens, John Bush, Curtis Bush, Betty Gresham, Richard Bush, and infant siblings William and Marion Bush. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.

Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial immediately following in Woodridge Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice House, Lexington or Cool Branch Baptist Church, Blair, SC. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family at Barr-Price.com.
