Annie Ruth McLeod Willcox, 93, of Lumber City, died Friday, January 25. A funeral service will be held at 11:00A.M., on Tuesday, January 29, at Lumber City United Methodist Church with burial at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.

A native of Toombs County, Ms. Willcox lived most of her life in Telfair County and was the daughter of the late William and Lucinda Williams McLeod. A homemaker and a member of Lumber City United Methodist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eli K. Willcox, Sr.; son, Carl Willcox; and granddaughter, Catey Willcox. Survivors include her children, Katherine (Walter) Bland of Fernandina, FL, Eli (Marva) Willcox of Greely, CO, and George (Bobbie) Willcox of Augusta; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
