Obituary of Annie Maxwell Annie Laurie Maxwell, 70, passed away on December 19, 2018. Service: 10 am Friday, Holy Family Catholic Church, 6150 Pershing Ave, Ft. Worth.

Visitation: 6 pm – 8 pm Thursday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Ft. Worth. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Ft.

Worth. Annie was born on March 21, 1948 in Dallas to Henry and Elaine Maxwell. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy, received her BA in Drama from University of Dallas and her Master in Education from Texas Woman’s University.

She also attended Tarrant County College for Spanish and American Sign Language. Annie Taught students in the FWISD who had language and learning disabilities for 29 years. It was a great joy for her when a child learned to read.

She will be loved and missed by family and friends. Survivors: Sons, John Christopher Looney and Daniel Patrick Looney and wife Jaci, and their father John Terrence Looney; grandsons, Jackon Charles and Taylor Patrick Looney; sister, Mary Margaret Maxwell Russell and her sons, Huntley and David Russell; brother, Henry Lee Maxwell and wife Sarah and daughter, Sunshine, husband, Chris, and children, Andrew and Caitlyn; and a host of extended family and friends.
