A homegoing celebration for Mr. Anthony Benson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 will be held Saturday, July 21st, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. , Rev. Antonio Pringley, officiating.

The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Anthony Benson was born August 25, 1958 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Herman Benson, Sr. and Almeda Benson Traylor. Anthony liked to work on different electronics, loved classical cars and enjoyed going to the casino.

Anthony was employed with Amalie Arena for 7 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Frederick Douglas Traylor, Sr.; brothers, Edward Benson, Sr., Frederick Benson, Sr., Jeffrey Benson and Herman Tommy Benson, Jr.; and sister, Vermalyn Benson. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his wife of 38 years, Victoria Benson; children, Rahneia Benson, Shawona Benson and Antoneishia Benson; grandchildren, Mariyah Youngblood, Marcus Brown, Jr., Zaleah Bouyer, Za’niyah Bouyer, Harlem Turner, Brooklyn Turner, Vyron Miller, Jr., Malaysia Miller and Calvin Martin, Jr.; sisters, Brenda Blount and Terry Benson; step-sisters, Margaret Ali, Joan Mitchell, Janet Traylor, Lucille Bebbs and Dorothy Hunter; step-brothers, Frederick Traylor and Edward Traylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relaties and friends.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Saturday, one hour prior to the service 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the services.
