Anthony John “Tony” Santos, age 30, died Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Moapa, Nevada. He was born May 12, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Juan Antonio Santos Jr. and Fedora Jane Levi. Tony lived most of his life in Moapa Valley.

He graduated from Moapa Valley High School then earned his Bachelors Degree from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. Tony loved gaming, snow boarding and his Philadelphia Eagles. He was proud to be a member of the Moapa Band of Paiutes and loved his grandmother’s cooking.

Survivors include his father, Juan Santos Jr. of Logandale, NV; two brothers and one sister: Andrew Santos and his son, Daxton of Overton, NV; Felicia Santos of Logandale, NV; Jeremy Santos of Las Vegas, NV; grandmother, Irma Reyes of Overton, NV; grandfather, Juan Santos, Sr. of FL; grandmother, Mary Jane Levi of Moapa, NV; great grandfather, Francisco Cordova of Gilbert, AZ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Fedora. A Traditional Indian Sing will be celebrated at the Moapa Tribal Building beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018.
