Anthony N. Gandolfo January 16, 1930 – May 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Age 89 Anthony passed away May 1, 2019 after a fight with mesothelioma. Beloved husband of Beatrice for 65 years. Loving father of Nick (Cynthia), Peter (Carrie), and Cathy (Ron) Kerrigan.

Caring grandfather of Sarah, Bob, Tony, Nicole (Carter), Cole and Ellie. Brother of Mary Salerno, Ed Gandolfo, and the late Jim Gandol, Margaret Nuccio, and Phillip Gandolfo. Anthony “Tony” was born on January 16, 1930 to Nicola and Maria Gandolfo in Dearborn, MI.

Tony was a graduate of Fordson High School, Class of 1948. He served as a US Marine stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Tony was co-owner of Gandol Construction Inc. for over 55 years.

He had a passion for gardening and enjoyed giving fresh vegetables to his neighbors, family and friends. He enjoyed telling stories and took great pride in coming up with unique solutions to repair household malfunctions. Visitation Friday 2 – 8pm with a 6:30 pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd.

, Garden City. In state Saturday 9:30 am until the 10 am Funeral Service at Church of the Divine Child, 1055 N. Silvery Lane at Wilson in Dearborn. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Checks payable to: Cure SMA 925 Busse Rd.
