OBITUARY Anthony Occhipinti January 5, 1921 – October 28, 2018 Anthony John Occhipinti, Sr. of Chestnut Ridge, NY passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, he was 97. Born in Hackensack, NJ to John and Jennie Occipinti. Anthony later married his lifelong love Mary Orapallo.

He is survived by his daughter; Sandra Mackey, grandchildren; Donna Conway, Michael DeRosa, Camille DeRosa, Anthony DeRosa, Christopher Morro, Laurie Occhipinti, Danielle Nadkarni, Lisa Foglia, Brian Mackey, Erin Senne and great-grandchildren; Jennie Conway, Maya DeRosa and Braxton Foglia. Anthony was predeceased by his daughters; Jean DeRosa who passed away on April 9, 1992, Angela Occhipinti who passed away on August 10, 2016 and son; Anthony Occhipinti, Jr. who passed away on February 13, 2017. Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9pm.

The funeral service will be celebrated at Ascension Cemetery Chapel, 650 Saddle River Road, Airmont, NY on Saturday, November 3, 2016 at 10am with the entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Anthony’s name to United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956, (845) 634-4974, www. hospiceofrockland.org.
