Mr. Anthony (Tony) Wayne Burchette, of Rose, Oklahoma, born on December 10, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Lena Madeline Bradford Gibbs and the late Bill Gibbs, passed away at age 69 on January 7, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. From 1968 to 1975, Tony served in the United States Air Force and from 1975-1989 was an assistant clerk to the president of the Burlington Northern Railroad. Tony is survived by his sons, Brady Cole Burchette and wife Tracy of Millsap, Brett Andrew Neill and wife Debbie of Godley and Christopher Ryan Neill and wife Becca of Fort Worth. Tony also had four grandchildren; Tyler Cole Burchette, Brittney Anne Neill, Braxton Andrew Neill, and Olivia Belle Neill. He has resided in the Weatherford area for the last 30 plus years.

Playing bingo and cheering on his beloved Oklahoma Sooners were two of his favorite pastimes. Friends and family can pay their respects at the visitation on Friday, January 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm St, Weatherford and the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 12 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at South Main Church of Christ, Weatherford, Texas.
