OBITUARY Anthony Walter Grejdus August 21, 1940 – January 27, 2019 Anthony (Tony) W. Grejdus, 78, of New Britain died peacefully on January 27, 2019. Tony was born in New Britain to the late Antoni and Wladyslawa (Lottie) Grejdus. He was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, New York Giants, Boston Celtics and UConn Huskies.

Tony was the beloved father of Rosemary and her husband Richard Stepp of Colchester, Darrell Grejdus of California, and grandfather to Audrey Stepp of Colchester, Airman Alicia Stepp of Texas and Alexander James Grejdus of Southington. Tony also leaves his loving sister Helen M. Toth of New Britain and a brother Daniel Grejdus and his wife Theresa of Billerica, MA. He was predeceased by his brothers Francis and Stanley.

He also leaves several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church. A committal service will follow in the Chapel at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
