Obituary of Anthony J. Guarino Anthony J. Guarino, age 90 years, of Plymouth Meeting, Pa passed away on Saturday May 4, 2019 at Sunrise At Blue Bell. Tony was born in Philadelphia, Pa on Thursday May 31, 1928, son of the late Joseph and the late Immaculata (Raccioppi) Guarino. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa and has lived in Plymouth Meeting, Pa since 1972.

Tony worked as a Civil Engineer in and around Philadelphia for 40-plus years, having graduated from Drexel University in 1950. He was a Army Veteran of the Korean War, where he received the Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars and the United Nations Service Ribbon. He was an active member of Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church of Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

He was an avid fisherman, he was a member of the Sons of Italy, and he volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Philomenia (Lanzetta)Guarino, his 2 daughters Regina Guarino Quigley of Wilmington, DE and Stephanie (& Jim) Doyle of High Spring, Fl and his grandchildren Vincent Doyle & Leonora Quigley, and a great Grandson Rowan. He is also survived by 3 sisters Teresa Lavalle, Evelyn Bucciarelli and Millie DiBrino.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 8 at 11:00 AM from Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church 3050 Walton & Township Line Road, Plymouth Meeting, Pa 19462. Mass is preceded by a viewing on Wednesday, May 8 from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the church. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, Pa.
