Antonia Crosilla March 10, 1922 – April 26, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Tupelo, formerly of Trieste, Italy – Antonia Crosilla, 97, surrounded by her loving family, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2019, at Diversicare of Tupelo. On March 10, 1922, she was born to Luigi and Rosa Villatora in Trieste, Italy and was the youngest of six children. She married the love of her life, Mario, and they shared 62 wonderful years together before his death March 21, 2007.

Antonia enjoyed being in the kitchen and she loved cooking and entertaining her family and friends. She worked as a seamstress for a number of years earlier in her life and was known for making quality clothing. Antonia’s greatest love was that of her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her only daughter, Audrey Brandow of Belden; two grandchildren, Sean Brandow and his wife, Kathy of New York and Andrea Strawbridge and her husband, Ike of Mobile, Alabama; two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Kaitlyn Brandow of New York; three nieces, Luciana Franklin and her husband, Gene of Tupelo, Edda Duszak and her husband, Joe of Pennsylvania and Nelly Lauro and her husband, Tony of Pennsylvania and their combined children and grandchildren; sister-in-law, Antonia Crosilla of Trieste, Italy; several nieces of Trieste, Italy; one niece of Buenos Aires, Argentina; and a very special family, Jay, Deepika, Rahul and Ellora Day, all of Tupelo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mario Crosilla; parents, Luigi and Rosa Villatora; four sisters and two brothers; granddaughter, Wendy Brandow; and son-in-law, Ray Brandow. Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.

A memorial service honoring her life was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Corey Collins officiating. Burial followed in Tupelo Memorial Park.
