Anwar Bacchus was born March 6, 1938 in Shitanka Berbice, Guyana then spent the second half of his life living with his family in Port St. Lucie, FL. The past eight months were very difficult as his health declined. He passed away peacefully on January 23, 2019 surrounded in love with his devoted family.

During his lifetime he spent his days working extremely hard as a surveyor and always sought new and interesting enterprises as a business owner. Beyond the day to day enterprises he was a loving husband, devoted father and provider. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; son, Sean Anwar Bacchus, daughter, Alea Ann Bacchus; and brother, Mursaline Bacchus.

Please join them in honoring his life on February 1, 2019 at the Yates Funeral Home, 7951 S US Highway 1, Port St Lucie from 2pm – 4pm.
