Obituary for April Chumbley Glancy April Chumbley Glancy, 44, of Dawsonville passed away Monday April 16, 2018 following a period of declining health. Born January 17, 1974 in Austell, Georgia, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 9 years having moved from Canton. A homemaker at her death, she was formerly employed in customer service.

April was very devoted to her family and was a member of Juno Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Al and JoAnn Leonard, Carthel and Zula Chumbley, and her biological father, Gerald Collins. Surviving are her daughters, Catherine Chumbley, Kelsey Glancy; granddaughter, Sophia Sneen; parents, Ron and Brenda Chumbley; brother and sister in law, Gerald and Rose Chumbley, all of Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Thursday April 19, 2018 at 1 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brody Hughes will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Juno Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.
