ArDean Orville Kluver was born on May 31, 1933, in Olivia, Minnesota the son of William and Viola (Henslin) Kluver. When ArDean was a young boy, the Kluver family moved to the Nelson area where they farmed south of Nelson on Smith Lake. ArDean was united in marriage to Mildred “Millie” Debilzen on September 16, 1953.

It was true love from day one and whenever ArDean saw Millie he always lit up and had a sparkle in his eyes. After their marriage the couple stayed on the family farm where they raised their four children. Besides farming ArDean also worked for Bellanca for about fifteen years as a mechanic.

He was a gifted mechanic who could fix anything! He could fix a hair dryer and could tear down a tractor and rebuild it. Music was another talent of ArDean’s as he enjoyed singing, dancing, and yodeling.

In his spare time, he enjoyed playing softball, golf, snowmobiling, cards, and pool. ArDean’s greatest love was the outdoors. He told Millie when they were married, she couldn’t stop him from hunting and fishing and she didn’t.

His hunting and fishing took him many places, but his favorite was his “condo” at Wagner Lake. ArDean will be remembered as a man who worked hard but played hard too. He was a good husband, father, and grandfather.

He loved his grandchildren dearly and always enjoyed teasing and playing with them to make sure he had their attention. – God Bless his memory. ArDean died on Thursday, May 2, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred; sons: William “Bill” (Judy) Kluver and their children Jesse and Cody Kluver; Dean (Lori) Kluver and their children, Kelly Kluver, Joey Bergs, Billy and Ben Kluver; daughters: Deborah (Ronald) Kluver and their children Heidi Robinson and Travis Kluver; Kim (Rich) Goerger and their children Jessica and Krista Goerger; eight great grandchildren; brother, Arlo; sister, Marlene Patton. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, ArDell; and sister, Elaine Strong. Please join us for a celebration of ArDean’s life.
