Argene Elizabeth Denson was born on October 7, 1920 to Sarah and Arthur Russell in Pulaski, Va. She was a former Educator for a short time with the Cleveland Public Schools. Argene enjoyed swimming, singing, reading, playing the piano and watching LeBron James.

She was a very active member at St. Peters AME Church for many years. Argene was a beloved wife of the late Charley Denson, loving mother of Roland Denson, Howard Denson and Linda Canada, a cherished grandmother of eight and great grandmother of nine and a dear sister of Herman Russell. Her memory will be cherished by all who loved her.
