Arlene Faye Erickson July 14, 1937 – December 17, 2018 Arlene Faye Erickson, age 81, a longtime resident of Iron died Monday, December 17, 2018 in Diamond Willow Assisted Living. She was born July 14, 1937 in Hibbing, the daughter of Walter and Lillian (Anderson) Louhi. She was married to Rodney Erickson for almost 65 years, and was an excellent homemaker.

Arlene enjoyed reading, collecting teapots, working jigsaw puzzles and gardening. She found her greatest joy spending time with her family. Arlene is survived by children: Tim of Iron, Shelly (Brad) McClellan of Hastings, and Phil (Barb Kahtava, fiancee) of Iron; grandchildren: Erica Jackson, Alicia McClellan, Nicole Couch, and Julian McClellan; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Judy (Jim) Mack and Dick (Judy) Louhi of Hibbing; brothers and sisters-in-law: Mardell Lampi, Becky and Wayne Koski, and Ross Erickson; nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and her beloved cat: Blaze.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney; daughters: Gail Smith and Terri Erickson; sister: Jean; in-laws: Lee & Karen Lindland, Pat Erickson, and Oreo the cat.
