70, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, 2018, at home. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Gladys (Neshanian) Mercurio and the late John Mercurio. Arlene was a self-employed hairdresser for forty-nine years.

She also worked for the Johnston Senior Companion Program through the Department of Elderly Affairs. Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her trips to Foxwood.

She is survived by her loving sons Edward J. Marcello and his wife Deborah, and Michael E. Marcello and his wife Holly, all of Cranston. Arlene was the cherished grandmother of Mia, Thomas, Madison, and David Marcello, all of Cranston. She was the sister of Karen Mercurio of Cranston, Joanne Fontaine of North Smithfield, Diane Gray of Warwick, and John Mercurio of Cranston.

Her funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
