Barrera went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the age of 50 years. Arlene was a very social person who had many, many friends who loved her dearly. Arlene graduated from McCollum High School.

She enjoyed her time with family and friends. Arlene was preceded in death by her mother; Nancy Ceja, brother; Roland Yglesias and sister, Susan Rodriguez. She is survived by her Father; Gregorio, 2 daughters; Julia Skye Flores and Miracle Marie Cantu; 4 sister; Barbara Cantu, Theresa Ceja, Lora Rojas & husband Jesus and Liza Barrera, 3 brothers; Gilbert Yglesias & wife Rosemary, Anthony Yglesias and Ignacio Ceja & wife Alejandra.

Also, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Wednesday, March 06, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 07, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Interment will be at San Jose burial park.
