Arlene T. (Rose) Elias, 66, of Long Pond Road, Ledyard, passed away on Friday afternoon, December 7, 2018. She is survived by her husband, John G. Elias of Ledyard, her daughter, Misty A. Lengyel of Norwich, CT, her daughter, Tracey L. Tedone and husband Mathew of Colchester, CT, her son John G. Elias Jr. and wife Zuleika of Ledyard, CT, ten grandchildren, Ricky, Jacob, Woodie, Kira, Katherine, Caitlyn, Mikel, Jonny, Zoey and Zaylaa, her brother, Gordon Rose of Pawcatuck, CT, her sister, Georgina Joseph of Savannaugh, GA, her half brother, John Hunt of Pawtucket, RI, and her step-brother, Phil Russo of West Windsor, VT. She was pre-deceased by her son, Matthew J. Lengyel.

Mrs. Elias was born in Charleston, IL on October 27, 1952, the daughter of the late George and Hazel (Golden) Rose. Arlene was a former retail shift manager at Foxwoods Casino. In her retirement she was able to spend her days with her many grandchildren and her beloved paw children.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at Union Cemetery, Route 49, North Stonington, CT. There will be no procession from the funeral home. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5-7 pm at Rushlow-Iacoi Funeral Home & Crematory, 64 Friendship Street, Westerly.
