Arlyne J. Corder, age 81, of DeMotte, IN passed away Friday, February 15, 2019. Arlyne was born December 5, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of William and Emma (Bell) Ciszar both deceased. Arlyne was a graduate of the Fenger High School in Roseland, IL.

On July 12, 1957 she married Von L. Corder and he preceded her in death on August 17, 1995. Arlyne worked for many years as an operator for Illinois Bell Telephone. She loved to cook, crochet and sew but her great joy was spending time with her family.

Arlyne is survived by her loving children, Donna R. Pierce of Wheatfield, David Alan Corder of Hammond, Danny William Corder of DeMotte and Anna Margaret Corder of DeMotte; 6 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Arlyne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Sharon (Sherry) Lincoln and a grandson. Friends may visit with the family at Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
