Arnold’s Obituary Arnold Joseph Oz, Jr., age 65 of Dearborn Heights, passed away March 9th, 2019. Beloved husband of Joy for 22 wonderful years. Proud father of Nycol Miller (Sean) and Glenn Cole (Chayna).

Caring grandfather of Monik, Paige, Carter, Emilee, and Kaylee. Treasured brother of Sharyn MacDonald. Arnold was a man of many facets.

He had a knack for wood sign making and boasted a large Snoopy memorabilia collection. He enjoyed taking out his Harley on rides to unwind. He was proud of his time serving as a US Marine and his time serving the community as a police officer.

He retired as a Sheriff of Wayne County after 30 years of dedicated duty. He will be remembered as a caring, easygoing, goofy guy who was loved by everyone he met. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 13th from 1-8PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph.
