Arnold’s Obituary Arnold R. Oxner, age 88, of Brighton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 10, 2019, after a long illness. He was born March 23, 1930 in South Berwick, ME. Arnold is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Joan.

They were married January 2, 1950. He is also preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Sharon Lewis. He is the loving father of Steve (Debra), Brian (Ronna), Clifford, Annette; father-in-law of Scott Lewis; beloved grandfather of Angela Schnell (David), Sean Lewis (Jennifer), Bill Oxner (Melinda), John Oxner, Molly Oxner and Mallory Oxner and great grandfather of 4; dearest brother of Ruth Estabrooke.

Arnold was a carpenter for most of his life, eventually becoming self-employed and building many wonderful things with his carpenting mastery. He was a proud member of the Carpenters Union #1452 for 65 years. Arnolds’ wishes were to be cremated and not to have any services for him at this time.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial tributes may be forwarded to the family. Please keep the Oxner family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
