OBITUARY Arthur A. Hardebeck September 20, 1926 – August 4, 2018 Arthur A. “Art” Hardebeck, 91 of Dix, formerly of Crystal Lake, Illinois, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. He was born September 20, 1926 in Millhousen, Indiana, son of George Hardebeck and Rose (Redelman) Hardebeck. He married Marjorie White in 1959 and she preceded him in death in 1982.

He is survived by a daughter: Susan Hardebeck of Dix; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister: Clara Marie Wagner of Greensburg, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two step-sons: Robin Hall and Terry Hall. Art served in the U.S. Army.

He worked as a machinist for many years. He enjoyed gardening and bowling and played on several leagues throughout the years. The family will be gathering from 9:30am to 10am on Saturday, November 3 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave.

, Crystal Lake. Burial will take place after at Crystal Lake Memorial Park, 8012 Ridgefield Rd. , Crystal Lake.
