SMITH, Arthur Edward Jr. 86, of Hudson, passed away March 19, 2019. Arthur was a proud US Army Korean War Veteran and a heavy equipment operator. He was born and raised in New Jersey where he lived until moving to Hudson in 1994.

Arthur loved reading his daily paper, enjoyed going to amusement parks with his family, and being a devoted husband, father, and pop pop. Arthur was preceded in death by his loving wife, Connie in 2006 and his brother, David Smith. He is survived by his children Nancy Hillard of Wantage, New Jersey, Barbara Simpson of Hudson, Florida, David Smith of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Edward Smith of Gibsonton, Florida; and grandchildren Amanda, Ashley, Steven, Mitchell, and Marissa.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24th from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 25th at 10:30 am followed by interment at Florida National Cemetery. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Arthur Edward Smith Jr please visit our Sympathy Store.
