OBITUARY Arthur Petar December 31, 1922 – February 5, 2019 Arthur Petar, age 96 of Waterford, passed away on February 5, 2019 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Laura, father of Bren (Kitty) Petar, Carol (Dennis) Ahnen, Kathy (Tom) VanderElzen, Sue McIntyre, Nancy (Allen) Fields and Cathy (Bob) Wright, grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 19. Arthur was a WWII Navy Veteran.

He retired from Genral Motors after a career as an engineer. Arthur loved to fly his plane, travel, camp, boat, motorcycle and ski. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

Arthur was preceded in death by his first wife Joan and his sister Katherine Willford. The funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on Monday, February 11, 2019 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 5301 Hatchery Rd. , Waterford, MI 48329.

The family will receive visitors at the church from 11:00 am until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to the church. Please visit www.
