Ashtoreth M. Keipe, PhD, age 89, of Green Lake, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at Martha’s Inc. in Princeton. She was born on December 22, 1929, a daughter of Alfred F. and Marcia J. (Hanley) Keipe. Ashtoreth attended college at UW Madison where she earned her PhD.

She was a teacher at Central Middle School in Hartford, WI, were she taught for the majority of her teaching career. Ashtoreth is survived by her sister, Marie I. (Michael) Gates of Princeton; 5 nieces, Kathleen Ebert of Appleton, Maureen (Jeff) Lechnir of Oshkosh, Debra (Steve) Benfiel of Florissant, CO, Michelle (Derek Roehl) Gates of Princeton, Danielle (Larry) Hoover of Harrisburg, PA; 3 great nephews, Nicholas Benfiel, Lincoln Roehl, Arthor Hoover; great niece, Madisyn Gates- Roehl; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Marcia (Hanley) Keipe; sister, Patricia A. Ebert; brother-in-law, Gerald Ebert.

A graveside service for Ashtoreth M. Keipe will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019, at the Dartford Cemetery, 499 King Street, in Green Lake, WI. Father Robert Fictum will officiate. The family of Ashtoreth M. Keipe would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful nurses and staff at Juliette Manor, Martha’s Inc. and Generations Hospice.
