Aubree Elise Salmon On May 11, 2019, we celebrate the life of Miss Aubree Elise Salmon, affectionately known as “Aubs,” “Shuga Mae,” and “Baby Girl,” who was born on May 24, 2018, to the union of Raheem and Tamara French-Salmon. After a life-long battle with numerous medical conditions, she gained her wings and returned home to God on May 4, 2019. Aubree was the epitome of strength and was a “baby boss lady” that was not afraid to make her likes and dislikes known.

Although she had a loving and bubbly personality, she entered this Earth with impressive eye-rolling skills and was not afraid to use them. Aubree was the complete joy of her entire family and loved kisses and snuggle time. Although her hospitalization left her activities limited, she led a full and joyous life.

She enjoyed being an active participant in conversations, step aerobics with her toy friend Klip Klop, blowing kisses and raspberries, gnawing on foam lollipops, showing off her manicures and bracelets, daily FaceTimes with her Daddy, snuggles with her lovey Ellie, and endless viewings and conversations with her tv character spirit animal, Peppa Pig. Aubree’s constant will to fight has served as a beacon of hope and faith for the hundreds of people that have followed her journey. Many times when man said, “No,” God clearly and forcefully said, “Yes!

” Aubree was a true beauty inside and out. Her curly and sandy brown hair, incredibly long eyelashes, and chubby cheeks coupled with her no-nonsense personality made her that much easier to love. She was one of a kind and will forever be in the hearts and on the minds of all that knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Raheem & Tamara French-Salmon (Lagrange, GA); paternal grandmother, Lana Smikle (Portmore, St. Catherine, Jamaica); maternal grandparents, Otis & Phyllis French (Bay Minette, AL); great-grandparents, Jerome & Rosita Watson (Cantonment, FL); three aunts, Yolanda Dawkins (Brooklyn, NY), Solana Salmon (Portmore, St. Catherine, Jamaica), and Sandra Gandy (Clarksville, TN); one uncle, Otis French, Jr. (Bay Minette, AL); devoted great-aunt, Karen Preston (Bay Minette, AL); six devoted god-parents, John & Eboney Cox IV (Birmingham, AL), Sanchia Bennett (Bay Minette, AL), Pastor Elijah & Ella Johnson, Jr. (Pensacola, FL) and Neville Groves (Bronx, NY); and countless other loving relatives.
