OBITUARY Aurora Miranda Antazo October 18, 1939 – January 27, 2019 Aurora “Auring” Miranda Antazo, daughter of the late Petronilo and Francisca Antazo who were both public teachers in Manila Philippines, was born October 18, 1939 in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines . She peacefully departed this life Sunday, January 27 , 2019, 6am at Kindred Hospital. She was the 5th from the eldest among her brothers/sisters Leony, Nilda, the late Petronilo Jr., the late Fe, Esperanza, Cesar, Raphie, and Virgil.

Auring started her primary school at the age of 4 and finished her secondary level of education at Mapa High School in Manila. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Manuel L Quezon University Philippines in the year of 1959. She worked in public and private enterprises like Philippine Navy, NAMARCO, WAPCO, Winthrop Sterling, Philippines, etc.

In 1973 she migrated to Chicago, USA with her professional visa and then became an American Citizen. “Auring” was employed at Community First, was formally Our Lady of Ressurection Hopsital for more than 40 years as licensed laboratory clinical analyst. Aurora loved fashion, music, and dancing.

She was an active member of Philippine Performing Arts, Sinag-Tala, Misang Pilipino and Rondalla Group. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her nephews and nieces who used to call her “Auntie Beauty,” and will always be beautiful to all of us : Wilbur, Orville, Kathryn, Maria Theresa, Maria Fe, late Noel and Joel, Arnel, Christina, Darwin, Geraldine, April, Jojil, Jelly, and Jonel, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, family and friends.
