Obituary for Barbara A. O’Palenick (Reeves) Print O’Palenick Barbara Ann (Reeves) Age 89, of Murrysville, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. O’Palenick; mother of Valerie O’Palenick; grandmother of Zachery O’Palenick and Jason (Lacey) Miller; great grandmother of Logan Brown, Tristan Miller and London Miller; sister of the late Jean Flaherty. Barbara graduated from Indiana State Teachers College, and worked for over 40 years at Sunrise School as a special education teacher where she also coordinated activities and events for the students.

As the wife of a Syria Shriner, and Master Mason, Barbara was very active in the Masonic Lodge #799, Plum Creek/Monroeville. In recent years, she served as the president of Delta Kappa Gamma Society. She thoroughly enjoyed and spent a lot of time traveling the world with her husband.

Friends received, Monday, 2:00pm until Funeral at 4:00pm at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./Roth Chapel,7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills. Interment will be Tuesday, 11:00am in Graham Cemetery, Franklin, PA.
