Peterson, 87 of Rockford passed away Thursday May 2, 2019 in River Bluff Nursing Home. Born September 8, 1931 in Rockford, daughter of Wesley and Mildred (Johnson) Brazzell. Married Donald Peterson in 1976.

He died in 2014. She was formerly employed by Amerock Corp. Longtime member of First Assembly of God Church.

Barb enjoyed solitaire and puzzles. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Survivors include her daughter, Deb Munn; sons, Michael (Ann) Diamond and Robert (Shannon) Diamond; grandchildren, Shannon (David) Sims, Kelly (Lee) Hart, Eric, Sarah and Brian Diamond, Mike (Emalee) Diamond, Dustin (Valerie) Diamond, Christina and London Diamond; great grandchildren, Ally, Mady, Sebastian, Charlie, Leonardo, Reagan and Kensington; niece, Lisa and nephew, Steve.

Predeceased by her parents, brother, Ronald Brazzell and sister, Lorraine (Leighton) Wignall. Services 10 a.m. Tuesday May 7, 2019 in Life Church, 5910 Elevator Rd. , Roscoe.
