Barbara Hammons, 58 of North East, MD, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at home. Born in Elkton, MD, on November 24, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Edward Crawford and the late Virginia M. (Jones) Crawford. She was a warehouse employee and enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and art.

Survivors include her loving husband: William “Bubby” Hammons; children: Charles Barton, Glenn Miller, Jessica Lynn Plank, Ashley Marie Hammons and William R. “Moose” Hammons III all of North East, MD; her siblings: Paul Crawford (Barbara), Susan V. Rinehart, Floyd Hines (Kathy), Jimmy Hines (Becky) and Lisa Crawford; and 8 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Charles Boyd. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help with expenses, in care of the funeral home.
