OBITUARY Barbara Ann Edwards Phillips March 18, 1945 – February 2, 2019 Mrs. Barbara Ann Edwards Phillips, 73, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at WFBH High Point Medical Center. Barbara was born in Hoke County, March 18, 1945, a daughter of the late James Edwards and Elizabeth Emmie Scott Edwards. She worked at W.J. Reeves for 30 years.

Barbara enjoyed flowers and reading and was a member of Hope Chapel Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Richard Phillips; a son, Jeff Phillips; a sister, Susie Mashburn and husband Roger; a grandson, Dylan Phillips. A Celebration of Barbara’s life will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel by Rev.

Joe Bare. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:30 p.m. until the service.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
