OBITUARY Barbara Ann Goode September 26, 1941 – September 11, 2018 Barbara Ann Goode, of Pocasset, MA, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Bourne Manor. She was the wife of William F. Goode. Born in Springfield, MA a daughter of the late Edward and Barbara (Sackett) Bashaw.

She was a graduate of Tantasquan Regional High School in Sturbridge, MA. Mrs. Goode had worked as a secretary for the Town of Barnstable prior to her marriage. She enjoyed tennis, dancing and loved her 3 dogs, Jason, Charlie and Rocky.

She was an avid Redsox fan and her favorite player was Jacoby Ellsbury. Besides her husband of 36 years, she is survived by a step-daughter, Claire T. Goode of Monument Beach, a brother Edward Bashaw and his wife Diane and their children Devony and Jenny of Santa Rosa, CA. The family would like to give a sincere thank you to the staff at the Bourne Manor for their exceptional care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church 841 Shore Road Pocasset. Visitation 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd. , Bourne, MA.

Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to American Lung Association 55 W. Wacker Drive Suite 1150 Chicago, IL 60601.
